Artist Biography

Phil Kember is a practitioner of what he refers to as 'classical photography' primarily working with an 8x10 camera. His study for more than a dozen years is his home state of California.

Phil's earlier work was centered around Death Valley and the eastern Sierra Nevada. Today he is spending more time in the western Sierra and coastal regions of the state. Phil studied with Roman Loranc and is currently working on a series of urban landscape images of his home state
